Susan Chun is the founder and chief skating officer of Lifeskate.com, a website described by International Figure Skating as not only “unbelievably current, but it’s wickedly comprehensive and beautifully designed … This is one-stop shopping with a personal shopper.”
Since its launch in 2007, Lifeskate has published more than 1,000 articles on figure skating and more than 100 original interviews and skating videos, attracting more than 100,000 monthly visitors during the peak of the season. The site also sponsors a popular YouTube channel, Lifeskatedotcom, which has had nearly 1 million visitors.
Susan’s work has been featured in U.S. Figure Skating’s Skating magazine, German Vogue, CBS’s The Insider, International Figure Skating magazine, and icenetwork.com. Susan also has been quoted in The Wall Street Journal and appeared in skating photo shoots for The New York Times and Crain’s New York Business. Susan, an attorney with a New York law firm, graduated from Fordham University School of Law and Johns Hopkins University. A long-time New York City resident, she skates frequently at the famous Rockefeller Skating Rink, where she has worked as an instructor, and at Sky Rink at Chelsea Piers.
