Hi, there!
I am a big fan of Mirai/Caroline and Sasha.
Well, I am so lucky to browse your charming blog to find out Mirai had skated bravely at Rockefeller Center Rink.
She looks so cute. Yes, she has amasing postures.

Is she all right after the huge hit on the wall? Unfortunately, the rink might be too small for Mirai.
Ouch! Wish her knee is OK.

The air looked terribly cold. Hope the nice memories in NYC can warm her right up.

Thanks millions and regards,

Hi Catch22! Thanks so much for your compliment about lifeskate. Yes, Mirai was ok after the crash -- the sound of the crash was worse than the actual crash. In the skatehouse, some people thought she was bleeding because there were patches of dark spots on her tights, but it turned out to be false. She did comment that this was the smallest rink ever she skated in and she didn't have her contacts in so those contributed to the fall. During the warmup, when she skated a runthrough of her program, she was nowhere close to the boards as she was when she was doing it for the Today Show. Like you, I'll keep my fingers crossed for Mirai and Caroline for Junior Worlds...Susan from lifeskate.

Oh my you're right - she's safely away from the boards when she rehearses. Just shows that the best of us can have miscues.
