No surprise with the results. Not to beat a dead horse, but the age limit restriction has got to go.

Yes, I agree. If the world's best compete against each other, that's what it should be. The U.S.'s best was not represented at worlds.

I am annoyed by some of Dick Button's comments! Kiira Korpi had a bad long program, the worst I have ever seen, but it happens even to the best of the skaters! According to Dick Kiira is just a pretty nothing in skating world and that is not so! She medaled in European Championships last year, has skated better than e.g. Karolina Costner and Kimmie Meissner on several occasions. She had a great short program in this year's Worlds and Europeans.
List goes on and on. What's up with Dick Button? Is he out of touch or what?

I'm not sure if Dick Button is out of touch or not, but either you like him or you don't. He'll be 79 in July so he's doing pretty well! I actually do like him. I've noticed that his co-commentator is usually the complete opposite persona, like Paul Wylie or Peggy Fleming so I enjoy the interaction. I do hope also that someone like a Michelle Kwan will have the opportunity to be an analyst in the near future.
