On April 5 and 6, Figure Skating in Harlem (FSH) held their 11th annual ice recital at Riverbank State Park Skating Rink in upper Manhattan. Over 125 girls participated in the Latin-themed show, entitled Fire on Ice. Above is the fifth number from the program -- Suavemente by Elvis Crespo. The piece is performed by Zaiane Alawode, Trenee Barr, Autumn Bynum, Kaiyana Cervera, Yasmin Harden, Sharon Jia, Kiashaye Leonard, Ashe Nervil, Cheyenne Pommelle, Nikaila Saunders, Keziah Speller, Christina Taylor, Nakayla Taylor, Octavia Taylor and Tatiana Williams. Their instructors were Stephanie Freundel, Allison McKeown and Katherine Shuman, and the gorgeous costumes were designed and donated by Brenda Lovie of Lovie Couture, a board member of FSH for over a decade.
