Eva Longoria Parker at Emmys: avant-garde figure skater

Did you watch the Emmys on Sunday? Desperate Housewife Eva Longoria Parker  wore a very pretty and shimmery flapper dress (see right), which HollywoodBFF.com described as an "avant-garde take on a figure skater’s ice-queen uniform." I could see Eva as a figure skater -- a pairs skater I think. She's petite (5'2") and she's usually photographed with hubby/basketball star Tony Parker (6'1"), so I'm envisioning a throw triple salchow when I see them together. Other standouts, who were not wearing figure skating-inspired dresses, included Christina Applegate, Brooke Shields and Mariska Hargitay.
