Isabelle Delobel and Olivier Schoenfelder, the reigning world champions in ice dance from France, have withdrawn from the World Championships in Los Angeles, to begin on March 22. On their official website, it states that:
Isabelle injured her right shoulder in mid-December during the Grand Prix Final Gala (they won the Grand Prix Final). In January 2009, she underwent surgery and the duo set a March 1 deadline to resume training. Isabelle's shoulder is not yet fully recovered and she will continue her rehabilitation throughout March.
