As promised, here is a high-definition video clip of Johnny Weir's great skate and interview during New York Fashion Week's VMAN ice skating party. In order to play this, you'll need a pretty fast computer and a good connection to the Internet. Also, we'd advise that you start playing the clip and hit the pause button to allow the clip to fully load on your computer (or at least load 50%) before you finish playing it (it should be much smoother that way). You can tell how much of the clip has loaded by the little blue horizontal bar at the bottom of the player.
If many of you have problems playing with clip without it being jerky, please post a comment on this clip and we'll downsample it a bit and repost. The smaller, normal-definition version of this clip that we posted last Saturday can be found here, if you never saw it before.
Enjoy!

My goodness. Susan, bless you! You put the rest of us figure skating blogger/writers to shame. I love how you just get in there and get the interview.
Johnny I think genuinely wants everyone to support Evan...he'll need him to do well for more Olympic Berths to go the U.S. which may mean his going or not going to Vancouver!

Taylor -- thanks for letting us know about this. Due to the high demand for this clip (and the big size), we are using several services to stream the clip. One of them had an error, which we have just fixed thanks to your note.
If anyone else has a similar problem, you can just hit the reload button on your browser and it should direct you to another server.

Thanks, for this beautiful post and it's fascinating questions!
Something about a view opens up a world of possibility. I'm sure he'll enjoy it though and hope you raise LOADSAMONEY for your charity.
I am sure that he will absolutely love it. My son has done it a couple of times.
