The 2009 Eastern Synchronized Skating Sectional Championships
were held from January 28-31 at the William G. Mennen Sports Arena in
Morristown, New Jersey. Twelve open adult teams competed and it was
such a treat to see all these adult skaters compete! The Philly Spirit open adult synchronized skating team representing the Philadelphia Skating Club & Humane Society placed fifth overall, and here are photos of the great ladies in competition.
Final standings for the open adult teams are as follows:

11. Aged to Perfection / Upper Mountain Skating Association

I had chills throughout most of the assembly. The pain you still feel is obviously evident and I my eyes welled up more than once. Yet, I was also awestruck by your courage and honesty. I never met anyone so gracious and generous regarding so personal an issue. Then it struck me towards the end of your talk that you truly honor your son but what you and Larry are doing.
