Yikes! The last time I stayed up until 4 a.m., there was a Law and Order marathon on television. What's my excuse tonight? Well I just came home from the New York premiere and afterparty for Pop Star on Ice starring Johnny Weir. I'll have a full report in the next few days including lots of photos and video interviews with the cast and crew. I also really enjoyed the question and answer session after the film. Johnny, directors David Barba and James Pellerito, and Paris Childers (Johnny's best friend and co-star, he is hilarious and a good foil for Johnny) took questions from the audience and that was very interesting in and of itself. And YES, we shot that in its entirety so that video will be the first up. Good night everyone! (Photo above, from left to right, David Barba, Johnny Weir and James Pellerito)
Click here to see Part 1 and click here to see Part 2 of an exclusive Q&A that Johnny Weir, filmmakers David Barba and James Pellerito, and Johnny's best friend Paris Childers held after the movie premiere!

You shot the ENTIRE question and answer session?? Oh my god, thank you, Susan! :) I never expected to get the chance to see that...

Nice to see Johnny Weir standing up against Skate Canada's homophobia, even though ABC news started the ball rolling.

I had a chance to attend the screening, and the Q&A Johnny did afterwards was really entertaining. I made some comments and posted the photos I took at homo-neurotic.com. Thanks for capturing the video... I look forward to watching it!
