Melissa Gregory and Denis Petukhov skate to Black and Gold

Here are four-time U.S. silver medalists and 2006 Olympians Melissa Gregory and Denis Petukhov (see  below)  skating to Black and Gold by Sam Sparro. The ice dancers performed their new show program on September 26 at the Stars, Stripes and Skates benefit in Danbury, Connecticut. As Denis explains in the interview, this is a "Matrix" kind of love story and he liked the "edgy and futuristic" vibe from the song. As you'll see, the duo does more with their hats than a magician (see Denis below). I half expected a rabbit to come bouncing onto the ice to reclaim the hats but was glad it didn't happen. I love to watch creative pieces like this for the first time when I don't know what to expect, and the entire number keeps you very interested.
