Last month, ice dancers Tanith Belbin and Ben Agosto, the 2006 Olympic silver medalists and 2010 Olympians and five-time U.S. champions, announced their retirement from competitive skating. In addition to
touring professionally, what's next for Tanith and Ben? They spoke about their potential next steps in April during Figure Skating in Harlem's annual ice benefit in NYC.
For Tanith, it includes a move back to Michigan to be closer to friends and family, including boyfriend Charlie White (ice dancer with Meryl Davis), where she'll pursue broadcasting opportunities. For Ben, a possible move to Seattle to join his friends and family and girlfriend. Oh and Ben is also interested in being a guest voice on Seth MacFarlane's The Family Guy (Mr. MacFarlane - if you're a skating fan, please please put Ben in an episode involving Stewie).
In the video above, they also speak about the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics where they placed fourth. Interestingly, Ben felt that the 2010 Games were more satisfying to them than the 2006 Games where they won the silver medal. Enjoy! Great post! Tanith and Ben are such an inspiration for skaters. Thanks for showing the exciting future ahead for them at the end of their competitive career.

Often go to the front of the students to show off. I really miss that time, to a pair of red shoes, you could be happy for so long.
